A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. Margaret's Catholic Church, 1395 Hertel Ave., for James J. Mancuso, 90, of Buffalo, who died Friday (Dec. 28, 1990) in Millard Fillmore Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in the Town of Tonawanda.
A Buffalo native, Mancuso was active in Democratic Party politics for more than 40 years as a committeeman. He also was a member of the West Side Democratic Club and the Niagara Frontier Democratic Club.
He was retired from the City of Buffalo's Water Department, where he worked as a foreman, and was active in the Holy Name Society at St. Margaret's Church.
He is survived by his wife, the former Catherine Randazzo; two sons, George and Louis; two brothers, Louis and Charles; a sister, Josephine; three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
