The display of yellow ribbons is appropriate to show regard for our young men and women in Saudi Arabia. Now let us also place a black plastic ribbon on our trees to remind the old men in Washington that soon body bags will attest to their folly.
Let us take a stand in support of peace and freedom for all, whether they be Arab or Jew, black or white, young or old, connected or disenfranchised, rich or poor, educated or unsophisticated.
Billions of dollars are being spent in the sand. Our needy children face even more bleak times. What are our priorities? Let us, in one voice, let the old men know.
