BASEBALL HAS STRUCK OUT IN WASHINGTON BEFORE

I find it somewhat amusing to see the City of Washington making the so-called "short list" for major league baseball expansion.

Since that area has proven to be a failure in the past, and since the size of Congress hasn't changed in over 200 years, how do they expect to support a team with only 435 elected representatives packing the stands?

If Congress needs a place to spend time during recess, it should consider Pilot Field.

I am certain that the Bisons management will manage to find seats someplace, even if it is way out on Oak Street.
