OIL ENDS WEEK $1.65 HIGHER

Rumors of shots fired in the Middle East drove up the price of crude oil futures Friday in thin trading.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange, light sweet crude for February delivery rose 56 cents to $27.57 per barrel. For the week, crude oil gained $1.65 a barrel.
