A memorial service for Jane L. Phillips was held today in the Hardison Funeral Homes. Burial will be in Oakland Rural Cemetery, Porter.
Mrs. Phillips, 61, of Morgan Drive, died Tuesday (Dec. 25, 1990) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Oakmont, Pa., she lived here for the past 20 years. She previously lived in Peoria, Ill.
Mrs. Phillips earned a bachelor's degree in social sciences from Mount Union College in Ohio.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston, was active in the Lewiston Public Library and did volunteer work at Mount St. Mary's Hospital.
Her husband, Harry H. Phillips Jr., died in February.
Survivors include a son, Harry H. "Hal" Phillips III; a daughter, Nora Escott of Farmington Hills, Mich.; a brother, Dr. Robert Lewis of Oakmont, and two grandchildren.
