LOCAL FED BOARD NAMES DIRECTORS

Joseph J. Castiglia, president of Pratt & Lambert Inc., and Susan A. McLaughlin, president of Rochester-based Eastman Savings and Loan Association, have been appointed to the board of directors of the Buffalo branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. They will serve three-year terms, effective Jan. 1.

Castiglia, 56, was appointed president and chief executive officer of Pratt & Lambert last year. For the previous seven years he was president and chief operating officer of the paint, adhesive and industrial coatings manufacturer.

During his 23 years with the company, Castiglia also served as treasurer-controller, vice president and executive vice president.

Ms. McLaughlin, 38, became president of Eastman in December 1989 after working for Eastman Kodak Credit Corp., Eastman Kodak, Chase Lincoln First Bank and Citibank.

On the Fed board, Castiglia replaces Paul E. McSweeney, executive vice president of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union.

Ms. McLaughlin replaces Norman W. Sinclair, chairman of Lockport Savings Bank. The terms of both men expire on Monday.
