A shoot-out in a Brooklyn bodega left two store employees and one robber dead and another seriously injured, police said.
Four employees and two customers were in the Crown Heights store when four robbers entered around 10:45 p.m. Saturday, said a police spokesman.
"These guys came in to rob the place," he said. "Someone -- the store owner or an employee -- had a gun, and they returned fire." Police officers nearby heard the gunfire and rushed to the scene, he said.
Employees Nasr Hassam, age unavailable, and Mohamed Nagi, 27, died from gunshot wounds, and one of the four suspects, Orville Huggins, 19, also was shot dead at the scene, police said. An unidentified 23-year-old suspect was in serious condition at Kings County Hospital, he said. The other two got away, he added.
Two guns -- a 9mm and a .25-caliber -- were recovered.
