One must wonder how well Eric Lindros is sleeping at night. Is is possible he is having nightmares of being drafted No. 1 by the Sabres? With the Sabres seemingly headed in the wrong direction at the 30-game mark, Lindros may be dreaming that the Sabres brass is plotting to finish last, draft him and proclaim that he is the last piece to the Sabres' Stanley Cup puzzle.
The nightmare continues with the Sabres molding a young potential scoring machine into a first rate penalty killer, who scores about 25 goals a season while getting 10 to 15 minutes of ice time per game. Then Lindros awakens and looks on the bright side: if he were to score 60 or so goals in a season as a Sabre, he obviously would not fit into the Sabres' system and would be traded for a player who does.
