Combine Jane Fonda and her media mogul fiance, Ted Turner, and you have People magazine's "Power Couple of 1990" -- she's an Academy Award-winning fitness queen; he's a billionaire businessman. They plan to marry in about a year.
The top couple in the magazine's list of megamates led the survey, based on categories including joint net worth, altruism, long-term relationship potential, public displays of affection, sex appeal, and career ups and downs, the magazine said. Fonda and Turner scored especially high in the big bucks category -- she's a multimillionaire and he has a net worth estimated at $1.3 billion.
Also included in the list of 19 pairs: Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, Connie Chung and Maury Povich, Jane Pauley and Garry Trudeau, Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith, Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall, Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder, and Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward.
