Ambassador and Mrs. William Leonhart of Washington, D.C., announce the marriage of their daughter, Victoria Andrea Leonhart, to Albert Sharpe Trefts Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert S. Trefts of Shaker Heights, Ohio, and Chautauqua, formerly of East Aurora, took place Nov. 24 in Chevy Chase Presbyterian Church, Washington.
A reception was given in the Sulgraves Club.
The bride, a graduate of American School in Switzerland and Connecticut College, has a law degree and master's degree in environmental legal studies from Vermont Law School, and is director of land protection with Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of Nature Conservancy in Philadelphia, Pa. Her father, a retired career foreign service officer, was American minister and occasional charge d'affairs in Japan, the first American ambassador to Tanzania and ambassador to Yugoslavia.
A cum laude graduate of University School in Hunting Valley, Ohio, the bridegroom is a graduate also of Cornell University and has a master of business administration degree in finance from Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania.
His father is a professional engineering consultant with M. K. Ferguson Co., Cleveland, Ohio. The newly married couple are at home in Lancaster, Pa.
