Services for Erford H. Maxson, 84, a retired manager for Angert Auto Parts, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Kenmore United Methodist Church, 32 Landers Road, Kenmore. Burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda.

Maxson died Wednesday (Dec. 19, 1990) in Fairchild Manor Nursing Home, Lewiston, where he was a resident for a short time.

A native of Buffalo and a longtime resident of Kenmore, Maxson graduated from Kenmore High School. He worked at Pirson Auto Parts, Molin-Taylor and Angert Auto Parts from the 1940s until he retired in 1978.

He was a master builder of Masonic Lodge 911 and a life member of Lodge 860, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.

Survivors include a daughter, Karen L. Lunsford of Niagara Falls; a son, Del E. of the Town of Tonawanda; a sister, Minerva Brecht of Kenmore, and two grandsons.
