CLARENCE WILL CHIP TREES AFTER CHRISTMAS

Clarence residents have a place to take their Christmas trees after the holidays -- and return home with something else in the bargain.

Trees will be chipped again this year at the Clarence Highway Department, 6185 Goodrich Road, Clarence Center, said town Supervisor Irving W. "Skip" Grenzebach Jr.

And after leaving their trees inside a fenced area, residents with bags or other containers are invited to help themselves to mulch for next year's garden, Grenzebach said.

Trees can be dropped off from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
weekdays.
