A funeral service for James B. Wynn Sr., a retired employee of the Chevrolet Foundry in the Town of Tonawanda, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in the Williamson Funeral Home, 635 Main St. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

Wynn, 70, of Ferry Avenue, died Tuesday (Dec. 18, 1990) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.

Born in Texarkana, Texas, he moved to Buffalo in 1922 and came to Niagara Falls in 1927.

He retired in 1981 after working at the foundry for 28 years. He also had worked for the former Pittsburgh Metallurgical Co. and Vanadium Corp. of America.

Survivors include his wife, the former Elaine E. Brandon; a son, James B. Jr. of Baltimore; six daughters, Letitia R. of Hampton, Va., Brenda A., Jacqueline A., Ardis N., Mona B. and Bridgette M., and 14 grandchildren.
