DAVID RICH LEAVING FAMILY BUSINESS

David A. Rich has resigned as chairman and president of Rich Communications Corp. to become executive director of the Rich Foundation charitable organization.

Robert E. Rich, the chairman of Rich Products Corp., has replaced his son David as chairman of Rich Communications, which owns radio stations WGR-AM and WGR-FM in Buffalo.

David Rich's sister-in-law, Melinda, has been named president of the communications company. She also is executive vice president of Bison Baseball Inc., the family-owned company that runs the Buffalo Bisons.

Rich Communications also has named Frank E. Wood managing director of its board of directors. Wood is the former president of Jacor Communications Inc. and the former owner of radio stations in Ohio and Kentucky.
