City Mattress Inc., 3637 Union Road, Cheektowaga, has named Thomas A. Morris vice president and chief financial officer. He had been a self-employed certified public accountant in Knoxville, Tenn., and also served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of the Classic Prime Ltd. Partnership in Knoxville, which operated 51 Wendy's Restaurants in three states. Morris is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology.

The company also named Charles W. Haring broadcast media director of its in-house advertising department, City Ad Inc. He previously worked for Maguire Advertising Associates. He was graduated from the University at Buffalo.

Rich Products Corp., 1150 Niagara St., has appointed Jay D. Gmerek marketing coordinator of its International Division. He formerly was a marketing representative for Johnson-Matthey in Philadelphia. He earned a bachelor's degree from Canisius College and a master's degree from the University at Buffalo.

Ciminelli Development Co. Inc. of Buffalo has elected Sherri Ciminelli assistant secretary and has named Fred Krajacic assistant vice president. Ms. Ciminelli manages the company's Data Information System Department and acts as liaison between the Property Management Division and the Finance Department. She is a graduate of Mississippi State University.

Krajacic has held the position of manager of budgets and financial planning for the company since 1987. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Rochester and a master's degree from Canisius College.

Graphic Controls Corp., 189 Van Rensselaer St., has announced the following three appointments: John Barrett has been named quality assurance manager. He previously served as director of quality for Technicon Instruments Corp. He earned an associate's degree from Onondaga Community College and attended Syracuse University and the University at Buffalo.

Barbara Osborne has been appointed electrode product manager of its Medi-Trace Products Division. She had been product manager of NAMIC in Albany. She holds a bachelor's degree from Colgate University and a master's degree from New York University.

Maureen March has been named Plotter Pen product manager in the company's Information Products Division. She formerly was a marketing representative for The Liberty Mutual Group. She was graduated from Alfred University.

Nemes & Czajkowski Inc., an advertising agency at 5820 Main St., Williamsville, has named Walter Pieczynski art director. He had been an assistant art director with Levy, King and White Cos. He is a graduate of Buffalo State College and is a resident of West Seneca.

The National Association of Manufacturers has elected Roger P. Penny to its board of directors. He is senior vice president of steel operations for the Bethlehem Steel Corp. in Lackawanna.

Lang & Washburn Electric Inc., 185 Creekside Drive, Tonawanda, announced that Steve Frey has joined the company as an engineering sales specialist. He is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University.

Intermark Advertising of Williamsville has appointed Donna L. Meehan production coordinator. She is a graduate of Buffalo State College and a resident of Depew.

Synergy Productions Inc., an Amherst-based video production facility, has named Jim Zinkowski production director. He had been an independent producer, director and cameraman in Boston, Mass. He is a graduate of Suffolk University.

The National Association of Industrial and Office Parks, Upstate New York Chapter, has elected Mike McAvinn of Buffalo Development Cos. as its secretary. Also David Doran of the Snyder Corp. was named membership director, and Randal Brown of the Greater Buffalo Chamber of Commerce was appointed a director.

Grosse, Rossetti, Chelus, Herdzik & DiPasquale, a local law firm, has announced that Regina Ann Del Vecchio has joined the firm. She will concentrate her practice in the areas of insurance litigation and matrimonial/family law. She is a graduate of Canisius College and the University at Buffalo Law School. She lives in Orchard Park.

Kwik-Kopy Corp. of Cypress, Texas, has elected Bob and Sheila Eaglesome "Franchise Man and Woman of the Year." They own and operate the Kwik-Kopy Center at the Commons Mall in Jamestown.
