A memorial Mass for Raymond A. Muench, 82, was offered today in St. Paul's Catholic Church in Rome, N.Y. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Lackawanna.
Muench, a retired Bethlehem Steel Corp. worker who lived most of his life in Buffalo, West Seneca and Silver Creek, died Saturday (Dec. 15, 1990) in Rome Hospital.
Born and educated in Buffalo, Muench had been employed at the Bethlehem Steel plant until he retired in 1970. He continued to reside in Western New York until 1989, when he moved to Rome.
Surviving are his wife, the former Imelda Switzer; two daughters, Imelda Nichter of Rome and Nanci Jacobs of Coeur D'Alene, Idaho; a son, David of Belleville, Ill.; a sister, Marie Ehlers; 10 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
