Services for Joseph A. Marrone, a native of Niagara Falls and longtime employee of Carborundum Co., were held Saturday in Linden, N.J.
Marrone, 79, died Thursday (Dec. 13, 1990) at his home in Clark, N.J.
A graduate of Kelley Business Institute in Niagara Falls, he worked for Carborundum for 38 years until he retired in 1976 as an abrasive specialist. The company transferred him to New Jersey about 30 years ago.
His wife was the former Virginia Hawthorne.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Jane Lee, Jill DiGiovanni and Jo Ann Beck, all of Clark, N.J.; a brother, R. Phil of Lewiston; four grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
