GUNSHOTS FIRED AT HOME ON MONROE ST.; MAN HELD

Police recovered a .22-caliber rifle and charged a man with first-degree reckless endangerment early Sunday morning after two shots were fired at a Monroe Street home.

Charles A. Woods, 21, of 65 Beckwith St. also was charged with criminal possession of a weapon after officers arrested him about 1 a.m. Sunday. Anthony Dixon and his cousin, Evan Summer, 16, were almost struck by shots fired at Dixon's home, police said. Police gave no motive for the incident.
