Australian army Maj. David "Gower" Freemen sets off for Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania on Tuesday in his bid to throw a boomerang from the top of the highest mountain on each continent of the world.
Freeman already has climbed the highest mountain in South America, Argentina's 23,079-foot Mount Aconcagua.
But Freeman confessed he did have a problem at the summit. His boomerang didn't return.
"The boomerang definitely didn't come back. . . . Maybe it was my style of throwing, but I really think it was the rarefied atmosphere that worked against me," he said.
