The Pomfret Town Board has increased its grant to the D. R. Barker Library by $3,000 to $36,500.
The board also approved both the concept of the Northern Chautauqua County Regional Planning Board and a $100 grant toward the board's initial expenses.
Thirteen local municipalities are members of that revived board. Councilwoman Roberta Valentine was named delegate to the board and Councilwoman Claire Penfold as alternate.
The board also hired John Bell to supervise the repair of the Route 60 Sewer District sampling chamber. The repairs were required by the Fredonia Village Board since the sewer line is connected to the village system.
