Services for Raymond C. Sink, 56, a retired heavy-equipment operator for Local 17, International Operating Engineers, and a former Gasport dairy farmer, were held Dec. 5 in First Southern Methodist Church, Sumter, S.C.
He died Dec. 2, 1990, in his home after a brief illness.
After moving from Gasport to South Carolina, he was self-employed in the house-siding business. He was certified as a heating and air-conditioning technician in 1989.
Sink was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Gasport, and Somerset Lodge 639 F & AM, Barker.
He moved from Buffalo to Ridge Road in the Gasport area in 1966, then to Sumter in 1986.
Survivors include his wife, the former Geraldine L. Hetzinger; three sons, William C. of Massachusetts, Thomas R. and John C.; three daughters, Katherine L. Strong of Appleton, Jo Ann Standley and Jennifer L. Sink, and 12 grandchildren.
