OTTO MAN, 26, IS WOUNDED WHEN BAR PATRON FIRES SHOT

An intoxicated bar patron, upset because a bartender refused to serve him any more drinks, fired a shot into a Town of Collins bar and wounded another patron early this morning, police sources said.

Eugene Leonard, 26, of West Hill Road, Otto, was being evaluated today in Erie County Medical Center for the gunshot wound in the buttocks. Leonard was transferred there from Tri-County Hospital in Gowanda.

The shooting occurred at 12:30 a.m. at the Tub Towne Tavern on Route 62 in the Town of Collins, state police at Fredonia said. Police are looking for a man who fled north on Route 62 in a small, silver pickup truck.
