Bush Industries Inc. said Wednesday that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of Case-Casard Manufacturing Corp., a North Carolina company that makes ready-to-assemble furniture.
Case-Casard, which is based in High Point, N.C., had sales of $16 million last year and operates a 150,000-square-foot factory with a work force of 175.
Paul Bush, Bush Industries chairman and president, said the acquisition will help the Jamestown-based company provide ready-to-assemble furniture in all price ranges.
"Case-Casard has done an excellent job providing moderately priced ready-to-assemble furniture," Bush said. In addition, the acquisition also increases Bush's production capacity, expands its delivery network and widens its customer base, Paul Bush said.
