Services for Alice A. LeVan, 82, of Chestnut Ridge Road will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in First Presbyterian Church, 21 Church St. Burial will be in White Chapel Cemetery, Amherst.
The former Alice Andrews died Monday (Dec. 10, 1990) in Lockport Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
An avid gardener, she was known locally for the strawberries and raspberries she grew.
She worked at the old Wurlitzer Co. in North Tonawanda and at the former Andrews General Store in Pendleton, which was owned by her father, the late Joseph Andrews.
She was the widow of Raymond E. LeVan.
Survivors include a son, Gerald of Northville, Mich.; a daughter, Janet Berning of Appleton; two brothers, Harold and Harry Andrews; two sisters, Ruth Kramer and Edith Andrews; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
