206TH MILITARY POLICE UNIT DEPARTS BUFFALO FOR FORT DIX

The 206th Military Police Company stationed at the Connecticut Street Armory left Sunday morning for Fort Dix, N.J., and possible assignment in the Persian Gulf.

The company, a unit of the New York Army National Guard, was activated Thursday. The company has an authorized strength of 118, and its mission is to guard prisoners of war.
