SAMARITAN SOCIETY TO ENTERTAIN IN HOME

Samaritan Society will trim a Christmas tree in the United Church Home on Amherst Street at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Dorothea Brooks and women from Calvary Emmanuel United Church of Christ have charge of the noon luncheon, at which the Rev. George Roser, assistant chaplain in the home, will speak.

Board members of the society will give a Christmas party and dinner for residents Dec. 18 at 2 p.m.

Entertainment will be by accordionist Bill James, who will lead a carol sing. Gifts will be distributed to the residents.
