A Niagara Falls man accused of firing a pistol at an occupied parked vehicle May 17 was cleared of attempted murder, attempted assault and reckless endangerment charges Friday after a three-day, non-jury trial before Niagara County Judge Charles J. Hannigan.

Vee Dee Price, Jr., 40, of 2520 Highland Ave. was convicted of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the shooting and will be sentenced Jan. 11.

In indictment, Price was accused of trying to kill Ralph D. Wallace, an acquaintance, who was in the parked vehicle at Fairfield and Highland avenues.
