JOEL SINGING BLUES ABOUT MONEY

Billy Joel says his 16-month tour to promote his triple-platinum album "Storm Front" has affected his relationship with his 4-year-old daughter, Alexa Ray.

"Having a child and not being there, that has hurt the most," the 41-year-old singer-songwriter said Wednesday on ABC's "Good Morning America." "And that's the thing that makes me the most bitter about this situation. They've taken away a certain amount of time I wanted to spend with my child."

Joel has claimed in a lawsuit that his former manager misspent or stole millions in earnings.

The tour stops at Buffalo's Memorial Auditorium on Saturday for the first of two concerts.
