USE CATHOLIC SCHOOLS TO EASE OVERCROWDING

There's been press coverage lately regarding overcrowding in Buffalo public schools as a result of the "mini-baby boom of the 1980s" and the inadequate facilities to accommodate additional students.

I would like to offer a suggestion. Parents should send their children to Catholic schools. We have safe and orderly classrooms. Our smaller class sizes mean more personal attention is given to students by dedicated teachers. Most important, however, we offer children fundamental Christian values in a Catholic family setting, helping children gain a sense of self-worth and dignity.
