READER'S DIGEST SETS SOVIET EDITION

Final proof that the Cold War is over came Wednesday when Reader's Digest, long known for its anti-communist views, said it would launch a Soviet edition of its pocket-sized magazine.

When the Russian-language publication rolls off the presses in August, with the title in English and Russian, it will be the 16th language for Reader's Digest, touted as the world's most widely read magazine.
