Buffalo police and Erie County sheriff's investigators said they found $2,000 worth of cocaine Wednesday night during the search of an apartment at 92 Harvard Place.
Timothy J. Phillips, 23, of 92 Harvard, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. Senior Investigators Louis Gonzalez and Alan Rozansky and Detectives Ed Neiman and William Wells said they arrested Phillips after they observed several persons making buys in the hallway of the two-story house.
Police said the house and Phillips had been under investigation for several weeks after neighborhood residents complained about drug traffic.
Phillips was being held in the Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment today.
