Elizabeth A. Burns, 65, of Jackson Street died Wednesday (Dec. 5, 1990) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after a long illness.
A native of Niagara Falls, Mrs. Burns moved to Lewiston in 1978 and to Youngstown in 1985.
She was a volunteer for the Ladies Auxiliary of Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, John E. Burns Jr.; two sons, John E. III of Lyndhurst, Ohio, and Patrick J. of Erie, Pa.; two daughters, Maureen Smeadala of Williamsville and Kathleen Schaffner of Barrington, Ill.; nine grandchildren, and a great-grandson.
Services will be held at 9:15 a.m. Saturday in the Rhoney Funeral Home, Cayuga and South Ninth streets, Lewiston, and at 10 in St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Hinman and Second streets. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston.
