CRESCENZO COSTANZO, BARBER, JUSTICE OF PEACE

A Mass of Christian Burial for Crescenzo "Barb" Costanzo, a barber, justice of the peace, independent oil producer and musician, was offered today in Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Burial was in St. Bernard Cemetery, Bradford.

Costanzo, 90, of Lewis Run, died Monday (Dec. 3, 1990) in Bradford Hospital.

Since 1914, he owned and operated his own barber shop. He was an independent oil producer and a member of the Pennsylvania Oil and Gas Association.

Costanzo was a member of the Citizens Band of Bradford and was a justice of the peace for Lewis Run from 1927 to 1975. He was a Boy Scout committeeman for Troop 95 in Lewis Run since its inception and was a charter member of the Lewis Run Volunteer Fire Department and a founder of Lewis Run Water Co.

Survivors include his wife, the former Vincie Piscitelli; three daughters, Olympia McMahon of Mount Lebanon, Theresa Bucci of Elmira, N.Y., and Jeanne Cucuzza of Bradford; four sons, Carl of Arlington, Va., Albert of Elkwood, Va., Joseph of Bradford and Donald of Newton, Iowa; 33 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
