CONSTRUCTION MORATORIUM TO END BY JAN. 15 IN BOSTON

Boston Town Attorney Michael F. Perly Wednesday said the construction moratorium will be lifted either either by Jan. 15 or when the Town Board adopts a new zoning code if that comes first.

He said work on the new zoning code has been completed ahead of schedule.

At Wednesday's meeting, the Town Board appointed Mary L. Thurber of Sherwood Lane to the Planning Board to replace Harold Dodge who died recently. Her term will expire Feb. 1, 1994.

The board also approved a $10,500 contract for 1991 with the Boston Emergency Squad and a $3,400 agreement with the town Historical Society.
