THREE FACE SENTENCING IN OLEAN HOUSE BREAK-IN

Three men who pleaded guilty Tuesday in Cattaraugus County Court to an Olean house burglary face sentencing March 11.

Mark A. Meyer, 20; Darik O. Layman, 18, both of Olean; and Lloyd W. Williams, 17, of Hinsdale pleaded guilty before Judge Paul B. Kelly to third-degree burglary and fourth-degree grand larceny.

They admitted entering a house on West Sullivan Street Sept. 13 and stealing items valued at more than $3,000.

In another case, Joseph L. Spencer Jr., 21, of Olean, pleaded guilty to third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree assault of an Olean police officer March 14 while he was being arrested.

Sentencing was set March 18 for Karen P. Bly, 33, of Little Valley, on her guilty plea to third-degree criminal possession of marijuana Nov. 1, 1989, in her home.
