I know only two people who want to fight and ought to fight, George and Saddam. Let them fight it out, 10 rounds, may the best man win. Let everybody else go home.
I think Saddam would win. Although he doesn't fight fair, he seems to have much more composure than George.
Think it over, Mr. President. You are playing war games with hundreds of thousands of lives. Are you ready to answer to the referee upstairs?
REV. GERALD WALTERS
No, let the generals
go into a bullring
I recently was watching the Senate Armed Services Committee discuss the crisis in the Persian Gulf. We expect to have 430,000 people over there with no combat experience, except for a few Vietnam vets.
Instead of subjecting these men and women to war, why not put all the generals and military leaders in a huge bullring and let them fight it out themselves?
War is hell. I know. I was there.
