Services for Hazel V. Glase, 83, who owned and operated a hardware store and later a tropical fish store here, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Schaffner Funeral Home.
She died Saturday (Dec. 1, 1990) in Olean General Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Belmont, the former Hazel Swift operated B.H. Hardware Store in Bolivar for many years with her husband, William, who died in 1977. She then operated Hazel's Tropical Fish until she retired in 1981.
Mrs. Glase was a former member of Trilby Rebekah Lodge and a life member of the Bolivar Firemen's Auxiliary.
She is survived by two sons, William A. of Jamestown and Roy A. of Charleston, S.C.; two daughters, Lois Weir of Portville and Joyce Lamberson of Salamanca; three brothers, Carl Swift and Winfred Swift, both of Buffalo, and Reuben Swift of Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Bolivar.
