I read with interest "Going the Distance" (Sept. 9) regarding Buffalo Bills fan Bobby Fox and his devotion to the Bills.
I live in Tolland, Conn., a suburb of Hartford. My wife (Terri) and I travel more than 440 miles each way to attend the Bills games. We have been season ticket holders since 1986.
I have a room in my house dedicated to the Bills. Among the items in my Bills room are three seats from War Memorial Stadium, game-used helmets from Roland Hooks and Sean McNanie, 534 game programs (I need only 63 more to have a program from every Bills game ever played), every Bills football card made since 1960, etc.
I live and breathe Bills football and hope that 1990 is the year the Bills finally get to the Super Bowl.
But if they don't, it won't make any difference as we will still make our enjoyable trips to Buffalo to see the Bills.
