The Buffalo Sabres seem to be haunted by the ghost of Kennedy. No, not JFK's ghost, it's the ghost of Dean Kennedy.

To say that Kennedy is a defenseman is a contradiction in terms. A defenseman is supposed to play defense. Not just stand around. Opposing team's forwards consistently blow by Kennedy as if he were standing in cement or not even there. To top things off, he shows no physical presence (not that many Sabres do) on the ice.

These things lead me to wonder if Kennedy is related to someone in the Sabres management. Why is he still playing? With the mistakes he makes and the problems he causes, we could give a rookie a chance to develop and play. The rookie couldn't play any worse. It's time the Sabres exorcised this ghost!
