Rob Holland had three hits, Tom Rule was 4 for 5 and winning pitcher Matt Andrews hit a triple and single for two RBIs for the winners (1-3). Barry Ashworth was 3 for 5 with five RBIs for Freedom (5-1).
Elsewhere, Jon Huber had nine strikeouts on a three-hitter in Eden's 5-3 win over Sheldon-Java. Rick Donald and Rick Rogers each a three hits for Eden (3-0). . . . Chaffee-Sardinia (2-1) bounced Holland, 10-3, on a five-hitter by Dave Buncy. He also hit a two-run homer. . . . West Falls edged Gowanda, 10-8, as Craig Bishop's two-run triple capped a six-run sixth.
Erie-Niagara: Eldredge Club trounced Amherst, 23-10, as Mike Kramer, Rick Mislin and Mike Bieniek each had three hits and Jim Adams rapped a three-run homer. . . . Lockport Bus (2-1-1) blanked Alden, 4-0, as Mike Sobieraski returned after a five-year layoff to pitch a three-hitter. . . . Lockport DMI (2-1) edged Clarence, 6-5, in 10 innings on pitcher Stan Janicki's RBI single with the bases loaded. . . .
