$250,000 LOSS ESTIMATED IN RICHMOND AVE. FIRE

Fire investigators are checking into the cause of a fire that damaged a 2 1/2 -story brick house at 55 Richmond Ave. The fire began at 12:25 a.m. Sunday and caused $250,000 in damages.

Battalion Chief Edward Craver reported the fire started in the dining room on the first-floor of the house and spread upwards. The house is owned and occupied by Margaret Paroski.

Firefighter Howard Staly of Ladder Company 4 injured his right wrist and Capt. Charles Pitz of Engine Company 37, his neck and back. Both received first aid at the scene and remained on duty.
