Services for Thomas H. Cranston, who operated a farming business, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Peter Lutheran Church of North Ridge, 4169 Church St., Cambria. Burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery, Kenmore.
Cranston, 79, of Willow Road, died Saturday (May 27, 1989) in Inter-Community Memorial Hospital, Newfane.
A native of Buffalo, he moved to Wilson 45 years ago. He operated the Tom Cranston Custom Farming Co., which for 40 years assisted many farmers in Niagara County in planting and harvesting crops. He retired in 1979.
He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church of North Ridge.
Survivors include his wife, the former Helen Koncsol; a daughter, Susan Martin; two sons, Sidney and Burton Cranston; two sisters, Evelyn Swing of Cheektowaga and Helen Marnitz of Buffalo; 14 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
