Services for Paulette M. Alba, 35, a subscriber service representative for Blue Shield of Western New York, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Amherst chapel of Amigone Funeral Home, 5200 Sheridan Drive.
She died unexpectedly Friday (May 26, 1989) in Buffalo General Hospital. She will be buried in White Chapel Memorial Park, North Tonawanda.
Ms. Alba, a graduate of Kensington High School and Bryant and Stratton Business Institute, began working at Blue Shield in October 1986.
A member of the Evans Rod and Gun Club, Ms. Alba was the recipient of the Erie County Sportsman's Federation Sportsman of the Year Award for 1983. She also received a Mayoral Citation in 1977 for her efforts to transport people to hospitals during the Blizzard of '77.
Surviving are her mother, Florence Moulton of East Amherst; a son, Michael G.; and two brothers, David Moulton of San Jose, Calif., and Mark Moulton of East Amherst.
