A coiffure arrangement of fluted veiling and a spray of pearls and silk flowers complemented Carolyn Diane Hamsik's ensemble at her wedding to John Russell Tripi Jr. at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in St. Stephen Catholic Church, Grand Island.
The Rev. Clatus E. Snyder and the Rev. Eugene P. Ulrich of St. Andrew Catholic Church performed the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hamsik of Town of Tonawanda are the bride's parents. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Celeste Tripi of Grand Island. A reception was given in Samuel's Grande Manor. The couple will live on Grand Island. An ivory lace gown decorated with sequins and pearls was chosen by the bride. The bodice was styled with a scalloped neckline. She carried orchids, birds of paradise, fuchsia freesia and peach roses.
