A reception was given in Brierwood Country Club after the wedding of Jill Marie Szczesny, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert G. Szczesny of Orchard Park, and Timothy Lawrence Salzler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon J. Salzler of Springville, at 5:30 p.m. Friday in Salem Lutheran Church. The Rev. Richard E. Blemaster performed the ceremony.
An ivory lace gown fashioned with a high neckline and beading on the bodice was worn by the bride. The skirt was tea length. Her fingertip veil was held her by a floral wreath and she carried pink lilies and roses with gypsophila.
Mrs. Paul J. Schildwachter of Ocala, Fla., was matron of honor for her sister and attendants were Mrs. Philip L. Peters, Mrs. Robert D. McCarthy and Sandra S. Szczesny, all sisters of the bride, and Mary Bonanni. Elizabeth Salzler, niece of the bridegroom, and Rachel G. Schildwachter, niece of the bride, were flower girls. Ring bearers were Nicholas A. Jay and Peter Salzler, nephew of the bridegroom.
Mark Salzler of Dublin, Ohio, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers were Justin Bonanni of Dublin, nephew of the bridegroom, and Robert A. and Jonathan D. Szczesny, brothers of the bride.
