Sponsored by the Grand Island Builders Association, Goldome Realty Credit Corp. and National Fuel, Island '89 Show of Homes will feature 19 new homes, each named after an exotic tropical island.
"We invite all Western New Yorkers and our Canadian neighbors, whether they are in the market for a new home or just looking for an enjoyable day out with the family, to come see the advantages of life on Grand Island and to register to win exciting prizes," said Christopher K. Aronica, chairman of Island '89 Show of Homes.
Aronica said that the theme of this year's show -- "Discover the Grand Islands" will lend an exotic, luxurious, tropical air to the show. "Fishing, golf, sailing and relaxing on the beach are all part of life on Grand Island, and we feel the theme of this year's show captures that lifestyle," Aronica said.
He added that show goers will have an opportunity to win one of several "Island Treasures" hidden in the trunks of Skill Buick and Keyser Cadillac luxury cars parked in the driveway of each of the 19 homes. "Buried treasures in trunks on an island, the way you've always heard it should be," he said.
