From 1968 to 1982, Becker worked for City of Buffalo's Department of Community Development as a rehabilitation consultant and analyst.
He was an honorary member of St. Ambrose Holy Name Society.
Becker's wife, the former Grace Wright, died in August 1965.
Surviving are five daughters, Grace Roberts of North Collins, Elizabeth Riefler of Springville, Barbara Ryan of Geneseo, Patricia Ryan of Spencerport and Mary Jane Becker; eight grandchildren; and one sister, Loretta Rue.
