LUCY VILARDO ST. GEORGE, A CENTENARIAN

Lucy Vilardo St. George, a native of Italy who celebrated her 100th birthday April 29, died Thursday (May 25, 1989) in Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk after an illness of several months.

Mrs. St. George came to the United States with her parents when she was 10 years old. The family first settled in Louisiana, then moved to Buffalo. She lived in Fredonia for 78 years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Anthony Catholic Church, Cushing and Orchard streets after prayers at 9 in the Millonzi-Fantauzzi Funeral Home, 82 E. Main St. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery.

Survivors include three sons, Casimer of Silver Creek, Sam of Sheridan and larry; three daughters, Angeline Latona of Florida, Jennie Pagano of Dunkirk and Grace Speziale; 18 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
