Services for Maureen Blansit, a former Buffalo resident, Navy veteran and realty agent, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Brookings-Smith Funeral Home, 133 Center St., Bangor, Maine.

Mrs. Blansit, 39, died unexpectedly Saturday (May 20, 1989) in her Bangor home.

Born in Buffalo, she was a member of Post 157, American Legion, in Quincy, Mich. She donated a lot of her time to the Air Force Family Services Organization.

The former Maureen Chapman was employed by the All-Ways Realty Center Inc. of Bangor.

Survivors include her husband, Capt. Timothy Blansit; a son, Jeremy; a daughter, Michele, all of Bangor; her parents, James and Margaret Chapman; two sisters, Robin Nucci and Bridget Merklinger, both of Rochester; three brothers, Kevin Chapman of Portland, Ore., Jay Chapman of Rochester and Shaun Chapman, and her grandmother, Pearl Berlinski.
