FREDERICK T. WILHELM, HEADED SCHOOL BOARD

A Mass of Christian Burial for Frederick T. Wilhelm, 54, former president of the Pembroke Central School Board, will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 18 W. Main St.

Prayers will be said at 8 p.m. Friday in the Beach Funeral Home 4-6 Main Street. Burial will be in Evergreen Hill Cemetery.

Wilhelm, director of grants and contracts of the Research Foundation on the North Campus of the University at Buffalo, died Tuesday (May 23, 1989) of injuries suffered in a head-on collision on Route 5 in Clarence. He was president of the Pembroke Central School Board from 1981 to 1985 and a board member since 1978.

Wilhelm, of Allegany Road, was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church.

Survivors include his wife, the former Georgeann Stocker; two daughters, Tracey Uhrich of Amherst and Kristen; two sisters, Marguerite Pennella and Lucille, both of Buffalo, and two grandchildren.
